The Finish Line

AKA: The Starting Line

Yesterday we closed on the sale of our Baker house. The documents were signed, faxed, and mailed. Exactly one month after we were suppose to close, the deal is completed and we no longer own vacant property on the other side of the state. It's a bittersweet feeling, and part of me is starting to feel small twinges of homesickness, but our future awaits!

...now all we have to do is await the arrival of the moolah!

Along the same thread of new beginnings, I leave in about 7 minutes to drive to my first day at my brand new job. Nervous? You better believe it. Excited? Oh man, yes!
